Job Opportunity: Open Space Maintenance

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Open Space Maintenance workers. This is a temporary opportunity that offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and diverse workforce.

The successful candidate will have experience in open space maintenance, including grounds upkeep, pruning, brush cutting, mowing, planting, cleaning and operating heavy machinery.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform general laboring duties and operate light plant and equipment
  • Maintain parks, gardens and other open spaces to a high standard
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying better ways to do work

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness with ability to carry out laboring duties and/or small plant operation in trying conditions
  • Ability to work under general supervision and take direction
  • Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships in a team environment
  • A QLD construction industry white/blue card
  • Qld C Class Drivers Licence that is current and maintained

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within Parks and open space maintenance
  • AQLD HR truck licence
