Senior Marketing Automation Architect

Develop strategic solutions to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth through seamless orchestration of marketing campaigns, real-time personalisation and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade marketing automation ecosystems that integrate with Salesforce Data Cloud for segmentation and predictive insights.
  • Lead the implementation of scalable, omnichannel marketing automation and personalisation solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Manage governance, performance, upgrades, and licensing across martech platforms.
  • Connect CRMs, CDPs, analytics tools, and databases via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Ensure GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM compliance with robust data models and consent handling.
  • Create advanced customer journeys with real-time triggers and behaviour-based targeting.
  • Use BI tools, A/B testing, and analytics for continuous performance improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, martech integration and platform architecture.
  • One or more marketing automation platforms (SFMC, Adobe Campaign, Acoustic, Marketo, Braze)
  • SQL for advanced data queries and automation logic
  • REST/SOAP API design and integration
  • Programmatic Architecture
  • Development Lifecycle and Deployment
  • Data Architecture and Management
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Architect Journey

Desired Skills & Certifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications (Admin, Email Specialist, Consultant, Developer)
  • Salesforce Data Cloud Certification
  • Adobe Campaign Classic/Standard Developer Certification
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git) or DevOps pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
  • Knowledge of identity resolution, CDPs (e.g., Segment, Tealium) and real-time data layers
  • Experience with mobile engagement (push, in-app, SMS) and personalisation engines
