Commercial Property Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Property Manager to join our team in Newcastle, Australia.

This role involves the management of a portfolio of commercial properties, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all day-to-day issues are resolved efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within commercial, retail, or industrial property, and a strong understanding of lease administration, financial procedures, and reporting standards.

A tertiary qualification in Property is preferred but not essential, as is a Certificate of Registration (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).

The successful candidate will be highly organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tenant enquiries and resolve day-to-day issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of lease administration, financial procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Collect rental income, manage outgoings, and recoverable costs, with a focus on arrears control.
  • Collaborate with other Property Managers to prepare annual operating budgets.
  • Process invoices, raise work orders, and manage debtors effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within commercial, retail, or industrial property.
  • Tertiary qualification in Property (preferred) or related field.
  • Certificate of Registration (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
