Cleaner and Trolley Collector

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

  • Responsibilities include collecting trolleys, sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team rooms, emptying bins, and assisting customers with queries or directions.
  • Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves physically demanding tasks, standing for long periods, and lifting loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks, is also required.

As a key member of our Proactive Services team, you will contribute to ensuring that our stores are in pristine condition and provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

About This Role


In this critical position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment. Your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate with colleagues will be crucial to your success.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas
  • Sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms
  • Emptying bins and maintaining a clean and tidy store environment
  • Assisting customers with queries or directions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
