Administrative Support Role Overview

This role will provide administrative support to the Service Manager in a range of day-to-day tasks. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and staff, providing courteous reception and administrative support, including rostering of staff at the facility.

  • Facilitate communication with residents and/or their families and staff in relation to office administration requirements.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the office, ensuring administrative, clerical, and reception services are provided to residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Provide timely and effective support to managers.
  • Maintain efficient and effective document and data storage.

Requirements and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting. You will also have proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), roster management, and finance management. Additionally, you will possess high-level interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills (written and verbal), as well as a high attention to detail and previous knowledge of roster planning.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining, a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance and current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
