Job Opportunity

This is a part-time position, supporting students completing their Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work.

We are seeking a skilled individual with lived experience of mental health challenges to join our team as a Peer Work Placement Coordinator. The role will involve coordinating the student placement program and collaborating with external training providers to deliver best-in-class learning experiences and student outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills, and a passion for empowering lived experience students and early-career peer workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the student placement program
  • Administer and evaluate its success
  • Collaborate with external training providers

Requirements:

  • Lived experience of mental health challenges or a family member, carer or supporter of someone with mental health challenges
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work
  • Substantial experience providing mental health peer work as part of a lived experience workforce

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Passion for empowering lived experience students and early-career peer workers

Educational Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work

Work Experience:
