Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Roads Engineer to lead our transport infrastructure growth in South Australia.

This role offers a strategic opportunity to build a team, shape our market offering, and establish yourself as a future leader of our transport business in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing transport team, mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Deliver major roads and highways projects from concept to detailed design.
  • Leverage market knowledge and network to grow our business across South Australia.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Oversee project operations including quality assurance, risk mitigation, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with clients, government bodies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
  • Champion digital engineering practices, including 12D modelling, BIM integration, and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong local industry knowledge and established networks in the South Australian transport sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale roads and highways infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 12D, AutoCAD, and comprehensive understanding of Austroads and DIT standards.
  • A collaborative, commercially minded professional with a passion for growing a business.
