Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

Giving children the best possible start to their school journey is a rewarding and challenging role. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.

About the Role

This fixed term - Full-time position offers 38 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to earn great pay while working in our centres and receive Fee Free Training as part of our Traineeship Program at Goodstart Early Learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintaining National Quality Standards (NQS) and adhering to Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and families.
  • Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team.
  • Safeguarding children from abuse, neglect and harm.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this role, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Additionally, you must have:

  • The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Working with Children Check

You will need to undergo a Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one. Additionally, you must provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis). If you do not already have these vaccinations, you will need to be willing to receive them.
