Trainee Educator Job Details

 

Our Trainee Educator program is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to develop their skills in early childhood education.

The role involves working as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education to young children, while also studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. They must also have a permanent right to work in Australia, strong communication skills, good time management and organisational skills, ability to work well individually and as part of a team, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, flexible availability, interest in early years education, Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one), and Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or be willing to receive).

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members
  • Complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant policies and procedures
  • Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
  • Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
  • Contributing to a professional and positive work culture
