Freight Coordinator

As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse operations. This includes receiving and checking all freight into the warehouse in accordance with our Warehouse Receiving SOP. You will ensure that all incoming freight is accurately and timely weighed, measured, and receipted.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring that all incoming freight is accurately and timely line item checked against vendor paperwork. It's also essential to report any issues and damages to the Warehouse Team Leader.
Forklift operations are also a critical part of this role, as well as preparing picking, packing, and labeling goods for dispatch.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Previous warehouse experience
- Aviation security awareness
- Manual handling awareness
- Experience working in a similar role
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Current unrestricted driver's license
- Forklift high-risk ticket required
