Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer to join our Core Banking Platform Crew in Retail Technology. This role will involve developing and delivering the vision for our SAP Core Banking System on HANA and Cloud Modernisation transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain highly scalable and resilient Core Banking Platform systems that support our retail and business customers, driving innovation and improving customer engagement and creating new business opportunities through partnerships, ventures and the Group's digital ecosystem.
  • Develop and deliver the vision for the SAP Core Banking System on HANA and Cloud Modernisation transformation within the Core Banking Platform Crew in Retail Technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An expert understanding of Full Cycle Implementation and Cloud transformation model, where engineers are involved in Design, Build, Change, and Run.
  • A passion for designing, developing, deploying and running high quality modern solutions.
  • The ability to contribute to a culture where quality, inclusiveness and excellence are championed.
  • Experience with security best practices across infrastructure and deployment workflows.
  • The ability to act as a technical mentor and thought leader for platform engineering standards and architecture.
  • Proficiency in SAP HANA Administration, including deep knowledge on HANA Architecture and Hands on experience in SAP HANA High Availability and DR.
  • Experience with SAP Basis and technical administration of SAP systems, parameter changes, kernel upgrades, Support pack upgrades.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, Route 53, Cloudwatch, FSx ONTAP.
  • Experience with container technologies, scripting languages, IaC Tools, version control systems and monitoring & observability tools.
