Plumbing Trainee

In 2013, the Reece Group acquired refrigeration and air conditioning businesses Actrol and Metalflex. Across all levels of the Reece Group network, our staff aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure they remain the best in their field.

We are partnering with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to offer School-based Traineeships where students will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. This traineeship involves working in a Reece branch while completing certificate requirements, including workbooks and on-the-job training and assessments.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Embracing Reece's values, policies, and procedures
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing all requirements of the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
• Processing sales transactions
• Managing stock levels
• Answering phone calls to take messages and orders
• Communicating effectively with customers and staff
• Developing product knowledge
• Following up with customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the branch

This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $50,000-$60,000 based on industry standards and location.

As a School-based Trainee, you will be required to work approximately one and a half days per week. Must have Saturday availability. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
