Business Analyst - Recruitment Process Improvement

The Business Analyst will play a key role in designing and implementing improvements to our end-to-end recruitment process. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather insights and translate them into actionable enhancements.

The objectives of this role include reducing administrative burden, enhancing the quality and speed of decision-making, and delivering a consistent recruitment experience for all candidates.

  • Develop business requirements and workflows to support recruitment process improvements.
  • Collaborate with employment delegates, panel chairs, HR staff, and business support teams to identify opportunities for automation and workflow integration.
  • Ensure all process improvements align with departmental goals, whole-of-government compliance standards, and broader workforce strategy initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business analysis, ideally within HR and/or the public sector.
  • Demonstrated capability in designing HR processes, implementing automation, and working with HR technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection practices, candidate experience, and compliance requirements.
