Our organization is a government agency responsible for detecting and preventing the misuse of the Australian financial system. We work to protect the community from serious and organized crime by regulating and enforcing laws related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our enforcement team in this critical role. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective regulation and enforcement of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level leadership to the enforcement team to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Develop and implement key strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective regulation and enforcement.
  • Lead complex investigations and litigation efforts.
  • Exercising professional judgment in enforcement matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance, investigations, and enforcement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, justice, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with government investigations.
