Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing residential and commercial buildings using brick and block laying techniques.

  • You will read and interpret technical specifications and construction design plans to ensure that your work meets the required standards.
  • Mixing mortars and repairing brick constructions is also an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities
  • Brick and block laying to construct residential and commercial buildings.
  • Reading and interpreting technical specifications and construction design plans.
  • Mixing mortars and repairing brick constructions.
  • Sealing foundations and waterproof materials.
  • Using various hand tools and machines to cut, shape and lay bricks.
  • Cleaning up workstations and areas after completing tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate IV level qualification in Civil Construction or Bricklaying.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and motivation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
