Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled geotechnical professional to join our Newcastle office. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of geotechnical expertise on residential, transport, and infrastructure projects.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage field data acquisition, site investigations, testing, and produce calculations, reporting, specifications, and drawings to ensure that geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions.
  • Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations, and retaining walls.
  • Provide quality checks and review experience to an appropriate technical standard.
  • Plan, program, and coordinate geotechnical project inputs to deliver agreed outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.
  • Prepare proposals and carry out other appropriate marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical or civil engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of university studies.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognized as a senior engineer in current role.
  • Experience with soil investigation, supervision, and geotechnical design.
  • Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
