**Clinical Leadership Role in Hand Therapy**: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical leader to join our dedicated hand therapy team. As an expert in the field, this role demands a high level of clinical independence, competency, and accountability to ensure exceptional patient care and service delivery.


**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing strategic direction, managing workloads, and optimizing skill mix within the hand therapy team.
  • Providing an expert hand therapy service to patients, including specialized oversight for prioritizing clinical cases.
  • Conducting quality audits, developing clinical protocols, and spearheading training and professional development initiatives.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and excellence.


**Requirements:**

  • A suitable degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as an occupational therapist with the relevant professional body.
  • Broad experience in occupational therapy or physiotherapy, with demonstrated advanced-level skills in hand therapy.
  • Experience in fabricating complex orthoses and wound management associated with post-surgical care in hands.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, clinical research/service improvement, administrative, and managerial responsibilities.
  • Ability to initiate and lead change resulting in improved outcomes and facilitating continuous quality improvement.
