About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator/Room Leader to join our team at Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged six weeks to six years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators to ensure they are meeting the needs of children.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Ensure the service is meeting the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA).
  • A current and valid Working with Children's Check (or the ability to get one).
  • First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Current & valid Australian Work Rights.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and assessing educational programs.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.
