About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community/Peer Link Worker. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering social connection, inclusion, and engagement services to individuals who are isolated and/or experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your real-life experience and skills to facilitate the development of social connections and encourage the support of other community members.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and inclusive environment for service participants.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support participants in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
  • Participate in out-of-hours activities as required to undertake the requirements of the role.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Peer Work (Mental Health or AOD) or Intentional Peer Support or less formal qualifications with specialized skills sufficient to perform at this level.
  • Available to participate in out-of-hours activities as required.
  • Current valid Driver's License.
  • Right to Work within Australia.
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
