Job Opportunity:

This is a newly created opportunity to lead communications strategy for tourism destinations. The role involves developing, implementing and evaluating communications plans to drive visitation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, advising clients on activities including media opportunities, issues management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality engaging content for various audiences and platforms as part of an integrated marketing communications strategy.
  • Write, edit and coordinate departmental correspondence and briefs to a professional standard and within set timeframes.
  • Develop impactful media and communications strategies and materials, including press releases, talking points, newsletters, social media and web content.
  • Manage complex issues with sound judgment and identify opportunities to support events.
