We are seeking a skilled Transport Infrastructure Designer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to contribute to the development of transport infrastructure projects in the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering concept, planning, and detail design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop transport infrastructure designs in various phases of project delivery.
  • To ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines, and legislation.
  • To review designs provided by external consultancy services.
  • To provide technical support and advice to stakeholders.
  • To undertake planning and design functions for infrastructure projects.
  • To implement suitable design processes for project delivery.
  • To report to the Team Leader or Principal Designer.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in 12d design and AutoCAD software.
  • Adherence to quality management procedures.
  • The preparation of contract documentation, project specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
  • Contribution to teamwork and fostering a positive attitude.
  • Maintenance of relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Compliance with the Ethical Supplier Threshold and Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • A successful completion of a Criminal History Check (CHC) within the last 12 months.
