Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service standards and delivering a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to ensure exceptional service standards and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Supervise the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurant, bar, room service, and conference and events, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Guest Service: Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests, and handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement promotions and events to drive revenue and increase sales.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated leadership and team working skills, and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling best practices, and food and beverage operations, inventory, and ordering.
