Child Protection Specialist

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Child Protection Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Child Protection Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and analyses, developing and implementing case plans, and providing support and guidance to families and stakeholders. You will also be required to engage with children, their families, and support networks, as well as collaborate with other practitioners and services to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a suitable Welfare, Social Work, or Psychology qualification, as well as relevant child protection or child and family social work experience. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with others, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
