Our Employment & Compensation Group
We are a highly active area of our Australian practice, advising on all aspects of employment law, including employment contracts, negotiations, and disputes with trade unions, anti-discrimination suits, and occupational health and safety. Our lawyers conduct litigation on behalf of clients and have expertise in providing advice on the preparation, negotiation, and enforcement of employment contracts, redundancies, and contractual disputes relating to employees.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced employment lawyer with 4-7 years' PQE who has expertise in industrial disputes, collective bargaining, drafting employment contracts, employment policies and procedures, employment litigation, equal opportunity/discrimination, occupational health and safety investigations and litigation, employee transfers, and due diligence. The ideal candidate will have strong client service orientation, technical, drafting, and commercial skills, business development aptitude, interest, and experience, a strong academic background, excellent analytical, communication, and research skills, a commitment to high work standards, and strong attention to detail.
