Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in a major transformation program focusing on digitisation and optimisation of enabling services.

About the Position

This 6-month contract with possible extensions, based in Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane, is open to Australian citizens only.

  • Contribute to weekly meetings including preparation of input material, recording of decisions and tracking of actions
  • Collate, analyse and summarise the inputs of those involved in programme activities (matrix organisation)
  • Collate/prepare and ensure high quality of all materials presented in different forums, including reporting to senior executives
  • Coordinate and support the use of software tools for planning and tracking of initiatives, including support and coaching to other staff
  • Establish and maintain data management environment and other tools as required
  • Be the expert/first point of contact for programme participants with data queries
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the data and its structure, and provide coaching as necessary
  • Support on-boarding of new staff and/or contractors
Essential Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • The ability to develop strong working relations and communicate effectively with roles at all levels
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience
  • Demonstrated experience (5yrs) in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a digital transformation environment
  • Demonstrated experience with collaboration and/or transformation digital tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, economics or any related field
