Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced labourer to join our telecommunications team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting a two-person crew in various tasks such as digging holes and trenches, laying conduits, hauling cables, and setting up safe working sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the crew leader in planning and executing work activities
  • Dig holes and trenches, lay conduits, haul cables, and set up safe working sites
  • Perform other tasks as required by the crew leader
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current driver's licence
  • Civil labouring experience, preferably with a construction white card
  • Experience in trenching and pipe laying, preferably with lead in conduit and cabling on NBN networks
  • A strong understanding of occupational health and safety procedures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
