Telecommunications Crew Labourer

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Crew Labourer to join our team in Fortitude Valley QLD. As a member of the crew, you will be responsible for assisting the Crew Leader and performing tasks related to the installation and maintenance of telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digging holes and trenches for conduit laying and cable hauling purposes;
  • Rodding and roping conduits to ensure safe and efficient cable transportation;
  • Assisting with the setup of safe working sites according to HSE standards;
  • Performing other duties as directed by the Crew Leader or senior staff members.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following attributes:

  • A Construction White Card or ability to obtain one (essential);
  • A current Divers Licence (essential);
  • Relevant civil labouring experience (preferable);
  • Trenching and pipe laying experience (preferable);
  • Experience working as part of a team (preferable);
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety procedures (preferable);
  • Ability to install and repair lead-in conduits and cabling on NBN networks (preferable).
