As a Senior Hydraulic Design Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our organisation, locally and nationally, within our Building Services discipline. The ideal candidate will possess building services industry experience as a Senior Hydraulic Designer.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technically sound and commercially viable hydraulic services designs and documentation that comply with Australian standards and authority codes.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions and mark-ups to the drafting and 3D modelling team.
  • Ensure accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
  • Deliver project outcomes that consider fee scope, financial and resource management.
  • Conduct or coordinate discipline checks for design documents and drawings (QA).
  • Participate in the further development of hydraulic services design capabilities / continued professional development.
  • Contribute to multiple projects throughout all aspects of the design timeline.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Cert IV in Plumbing or BSc).
  • Registered with the RMS for NSW Class 2 Building Practitioners Design declarations (preferred and highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a Senior Hydraulic Designer.
  • Proficient in Revit software, AutoCAD and BlueBeam.
  • In-depth knowledge of the AS3500 suite of standards, National Construction Code and Plumbing Code of Australia.
  • Able to conduct client meetings and on-site measures for presentations if required.

You will excel in communication and have extensive experience in all facets of the design process.
