Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our technology strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supply chain management, distribution, and sales-driven businesses, along with a strong command of enterprise systems and cloud technologies.

This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering strategic partnerships across the organisation. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the executive will play a key role in shaping the company's future through technology innovation, governance, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IT strategies aligned with business goals, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the deployment and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) and Customer Engagement (CE) platforms.
  • Oversee Azure cloud architecture and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with Essential Eight Level 2 standards.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including eCommerce, data analytics, and automation, to enhance customer experience and business performance.
  • Safeguard business-critical systems with high availability, robust disaster recovery (DRP), and business continuity planning (BCP).
  • Build and inspire high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology opportunities that deliver strategic value and operational efficiency.
  • Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships to support long-term technology goals.
  • Ensure cohesive enterprise architecture and system integration across the organisation.

Requirements

You will be a highly experienced technology executive with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology and/or Business Administration, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, including 5 years in a CIO or equivalent role.

Please note that we would consider someone who has been in a 2IC capacity and is ready for the next step into the CIO role.

You will bring proven expertise in leading diverse IT teams and managing complex vendor relationships, with a strong track record in supply chain, distribution, and sales-driven environments.
