HV Electrician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled dual tradesperson to join our team at the Meandu Mine in Toowoomba. As an HV electrician, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic and maintenance support for our EH5000 truck fleet.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work with complex electrical and mechanical systems in a mining environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our team members and equipment, while also maintaining a high level of productivity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on our EH5000 trucks
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Work collaboratively with our operations team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant trade qualifications, experience working with high voltage systems, and strong communication skills. You must also be able to work independently in a remote area and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
