Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roadside Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring timely and efficient completion of roadside services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to and complete roadside callouts within agreed-upon benchmarks and policies.
  • Provide customers with sound mechanical advice and information on available products and services.
  • Process all related financial and administrative tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Account for stock movements daily.
  • Ensure exceptional quality customer service is consistently provided.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Mechanical trade experience and a current C Class Driver Licence (manual).
  • A mechanical or auto electrical trade qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in the field of roadside assistance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer relations experience.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant automotive products, services, and policy systems.
  • The ability to apply initiative to unique situations.
  • Sound problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
