We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at MYOB Group Limited. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance obligations are met, with a focus on GST, fringe benefits tax, and withholding tax.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tax accounting support to Senior Tax Manager and other collaborators in a multi-divisional structure.
- Ensure tax compliance obligations are met, with a focus on GST, fringe benefits tax, and withholding tax.
- Proactively interact with other teams to ensure crucial outcomes for tax reporting accuracy, efficiency, and implementation of process improvement.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in either chartered or corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of tax legislation and application of the rules.
- Understanding tax compliance reporting and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in tax compliance, tax effect accounting, tax consolidations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Experience working both autonomously and in cooperation with a broader team.
- Advanced excel and word skills.
- Experience with tax effect accounting software (ideally CCH Integrator).
- Ability to communicate effectively with advisors, accountants, and other stakeholders.
