Senior Tax Accountant for a Sports Entertainment Organisation
At Sharp & Carter, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate filing of annual corporate tax returns with the Australian Tax Office, adhering to domestic and international tax laws.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and accurate filing of annual corporate tax returns with the Australian Tax Office, adhering to domestic and international tax laws.
* Deliver quarterly tax reports for SEC compliance.
* Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies that align with Australian and global regulations.
* Provide strategic tax advice to internal teams on business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
* Collaborate with the Global Tax Function.
* Stay current with tax law changes and inform stakeholders of their impact.
* Oversee compliance activities in partnership with the Financial Control team.
* Offer technical guidance, support lodgements, and resolve potential disputes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in corporate tax, ideally gained at a Big 4 firm or large corporation.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Australian tax landscape and its implications for businesses.
