Aged Care Assistant Job Description

Are you a caring and compassionate individual with excellent customer service skills? We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to residents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation, delivery, presentation, and serving of resident meals.
  • Provide care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines, focusing on meal choices and individual nutrition.
  • Enhance the overall dining experience by actively engaging with residents and promoting resident choice and control.
  • Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required.
  • Assist with quality food preparation in accordance with food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude.
  • Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience.
  • Willingness to take direction from others.
  • Reliability and shift flexibility.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Complete a police check.
  • Seasonal Flu vaccinations.
  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • Covid-19 vaccination.
