About Everyday Independence
We are a dynamic organisation committed to changing the game for people with disabilities. Our team of talented change-makers is on a mission to make inclusion possible for all Australians.
We are looking for a Key Worker to deliver interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families that lead to positive, life-changing outcomes in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas.
The role is open to full-time or part-time (4 days per week) arrangements. Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments is essential.
As a Key Worker at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. Your role will involve working in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, and community centres.
- Conducting assessments and developing therapy plans to support children with disabilities.
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Providing support and guidance to families and carers to help them navigate the NDIS system.
- Documenting and billing for sessions through our online participant management system.
- Attending team meetings and staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
We offer a competitive salary package, including vehicle options, laptop, phone, and performance and loyalty bonuses. You'll also have access to continuous learning opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive environment.
Our team thrives on shared values and a collaborative spirit. We're looking for individuals who resonate with our values and can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you'll have a relevant tertiary qualification and registration. You'll also need minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families, demonstrated experience working with children with disability, and a positive and flexible approach to work.
