Strategic Finance Director

The role of Strategic Finance Director is a critical position in our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy in collaboration with senior management.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all finance functions, including financial and management reporting, board reporting, capex, AP & AR, treasury, tax & legal compliance, 3-way cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and occasional M&A activities. The Strategic Finance Director will work closely with the CEO and Board to drive strategic growth and foster strong team relationships.

This is an opportunity for a career-defining leader to make a lasting impact on the business. The ideal candidate will have experience as a CFO or Divisional CFO with end-to-end responsibility for a relevant business unit. They will have a proven track record of leadership and a deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting, 3-Way forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements:
  • CA or CPA Qualified.
  • Prior CFO or equivalent senior finance role within a small to medium manufacturing environment with revenues of between $30M and $100M.
  • Industry sector experience in Engineering or Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Industrial Product Development, or similar.
  • Proven leadership experience in a finance function.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess advantageous qualifications such as experience in IT infrastructure, software, and cybersecurity, as well as experience working with a Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders.
