About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at UGL Pty Limited. As a key member of our Telecommunications business, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of fixed network projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, deliver, and monitor projects according to contractual scope and project budget.
  • Define project scope, identify requirements, apply risk management processes, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Manage project delivery teams for deployment of Fiber Transmission, fault rectification, and civil works.
  • Build and manage effective teams of Project Supervisors, 3rd party vendors, and sub-contractors while developing strong customer relationships.
  • Manage reporting on milestone progress for forecast vs. actual delivery, financial responsibility for P&L, revenue recognition, and variations.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in project management, telecommunications, or civil construction. You will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, and demonstrated ability to create and maintain internal and external relationships.

You will be able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
