Key Responsibilities- Evaluate residents' needs for nursing care and provide direct care or supervision as needed.
- Coordinate medical pre-admission evaluations and screening of prospective clients.
- Review and update medication records to ensure safe and effective care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to ensure comprehensive care.
- Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you must have a current NYS license and be registered by the NYS Department of Education. Additionally, you should have specialized training or one year of experience in treating individuals with developmental disabilities.
