About the Role

As a Safety Specialist at Zenergy, you will be responsible for leading the development, promotion, and management of health and safety provisions across the business division. This will involve working closely with the EHS Manager to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement strategies to improve safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance
  • Collaborate with the EHS Manager to develop and implement safety initiatives

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety
  • Minimum three years' experience in a safety role across manufacturing, logistics, or construction
  • Practical approach with extensive knowledge of legislative requirements
  • Strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership ability to drive change and develop solutions
