Surgical Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Seven Animal Health in the beautiful Sutherland Shire, NSW. Our state-of-the-art 24hr emergency and specialist hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, digital radiology, and ultrasound.
About the Role
- As a Surgical Veterinary Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care to our patients.
- You will be responsible for preparing and setting up surgical sites, prepping and clipping patients, assisting with surgery, and bandaging as needed.
- You will also assist our Anaesthesia Nurse with IV placement, pre-meds, and presurgical prep.
- Maintaining the surgical laundry, cleaning, and stocking surgery department and instruments is also a key part of this role.
- We are looking for someone with an open mind, who is adaptable and willing to learn, and a team player with high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
