Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgical Nurse to join our team at Seven Animal Health in the Sutherland Shire. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with surgical procedures.
About the Role
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing and setting up surgical sites, prepping and clipping patients, and assisting with anesthesia.
- Maintain the surgical laundry, cleaning, and stocking of the surgery department and instruments.
- Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic procedures.
- Work collaboratively with our team of experienced nurses, veterinarians, and specialists to provide exceptional patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience as a Surgical Veterinary Nurse in a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and adapt to changing situations.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
