Reception/Events Coordinator

At GOW Recruitment, we're seeking a highly skilled and organized Reception/Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As the face of our business, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and coordinating events that bring our community together.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet and welcome members and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Front Desk Management: Manage the front desk, including answering calls, responding to inquiries, and handling mail and deliveries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and promote a variety of events, from networking sessions and workshops to social gatherings, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for attendees.
  • Logistics and Setup: Assist with the planning and execution of events, including setup, breakdown, and ensuring all logistics run smoothly, from setup to teardown.
  • Meeting Room Bookings: Manage meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are prepared for use, providing a seamless experience for members and guests.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support and assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of our business.
  • Community Building: Foster a positive and engaging community atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging and connection among members and guests.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, ensuring seamless execution of events and daily operations.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a reception, hospitality, or event coordination role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Attitude and Passion: A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for creating exceptional experiences, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
