Senior School Economics and Business Educator

As a passionate educator, we are seeking an individual to join our dynamic Social Science department as a senior teacher on a 12-month contract.

About the Position
  • Teach Stage 6 Economics and Business Studies, and Stage 5 Commerce
  • Design engaging lessons that promote economic and business inquiry, critical thinking, and global awareness
  • Support students in developing skills in research, data analysis, financial literacy, and enterprise thinking
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in pastoral care and promote student wellbeing
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accreditation with NESA and relevant tertiary qualifications in Economics and/or Business education
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in teaching Stage 6 syllabuses (Economics and/or Business Studies)
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice
