Night Van Driver Opportunities

We are seeking individuals to join our team as night van drivers. As a night van driver, you will be responsible for navigating Melbourne's CBD and inner-suburbs, jumping in and out of a van, and participating in physically active and rewarding work outdoors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive around Melbourne's CBD and inner-suburbs to swap old batteries for charged ones and ensure the fleet is parked in a compliant manner.
  • Retrieve vehicles for servicing and bring them back to base.
  • Utilise operations app to undertake tasks and submit reports.
  • Follow directions to map locations and undertake tasks as required.
  • Perform in-field swaps of e-bike batteries that are low on charge.
  • Communicate with and respond quickly to live requests, including through app use.
  • Move share bikes to different locations.
  • Retrieve sharebikes from undesirable locations.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
  • Valid driver's license - comfort with driving and parking larger vans safely.
  • Fit and active - able to lift 30kgs frequently.
  • Familiarity with using smartphones / technology (iOS/iPhone experience preferred).
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (safety permitting).
  • Great attitude and collaboration skills - teamwork is key to success.
