About Us

A&B Automotive Remanufacturing is a family-owned company which began in 1973. A&B are a remanufacturing plant for vehicle transmissions which are dispatched throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Position Overview

As a Delivery and Tow Truck Driver at A&B Automotive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and vehicles. This dynamic position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to safety, and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for delivering automotive parts, towing vehicles as needed, and maintaining proper documentation for all transport activities. This role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently drive delivery van and tow trucks to transport vehicles and goods to their destination.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service during towing and delivery operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle condition reports, and towing documentation.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the vehicles to ensure they are in good working order and present cleanly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles or goods as required.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company safety guidelines, and industry regulations.
  • Once deliveries are complete, assist with various tasks and duties around the factory.

Role Requirements

  • Ability to load, secure, and transport vehicles and goods safely
  • Strong problem-solving skillsand ability to handle unexpected situations on the road
  • Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Valid Australian Medium Rigid (MR) license
  • Valid forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience operating tow trucks and delivery vehicles preferred.
