We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate programs for children, ensuring their safety, respect, and inclusivity.

Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent)
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups
  • Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years
  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service
  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development
  • Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar
