Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator with a fun and bubbly personality to join our childcare team. As part of your role, you will be responsible for the active supervision of all children, ensuring the correct ratio is maintained.

About The Role

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). They will also possess effective communication skills and a warm personality.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

  • Achieve ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Display a warm personality

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the active supervision of all children at all times, maintaining the correct ratio
  • Support educators in documenting and contributing to overall child development
  • Create a safe and engaging physical environment where all staff and children are safeguarded from hazards or harm

Necessary Requirements

  • Hold a current National Police Check (valid within the past 6 months)
  • Possess any additional certificates such as First Aid / CPR

Workplace Expectations

We maintain a zero-tolerance stance against abuse of any kind and will take disciplinary action, including termination of employment, should we determine that abuse has taken place or there has been a failure to report any suspected or alleged abuse.
