This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to start their career in mining. We are seeking recently qualified automotive electricians or communications technicians, or experienced candidates who want to apply their skills in a new industry.
The position is based on-site at an open-pit coal mine, where you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various systems, including CCTV, wireless communications, radio, and electrical systems associated with mining equipment monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical and automotive electrical trade certificate or communications technician-related qualification
- Valid Australia driver's license
- Australian Working Rights
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 2-3 years of transferrable experience in areas like CCTV, wireless communication systems, radios, and electrical maintenance
