The Seniors and Disability services team provides high-quality services that promote social inclusion, enhance quality of life, and increase capacity for seniors and people with disabilities to participate in the community.

We are seeking an experienced Social Inclusion Transport Assistant to assist with administrative tasks and provide safe and reliable transportation for seniors, people with disabilities, and community members.

The successful applicant will require:

  • A Certificate in Welfare, Aged or Disability Work, Leisure Studies, or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • A Class LR (Light Rigid) driver's license
  • Bus Driver Authority, public passenger bus, or willingness to obtain
  • The ability to relate to seniors, people with disabilities, and their carers
  • Experience operating a wheelchair-accessible vehicle
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • The ability to work as part of a team, be flexible, and have good organizational skills
  • Experience working with volunteers
  • A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • A current NDIS worker check number

This role is a grant-funded position with the possibility of extension every financial year based on funding availability.
