Dental Management Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of our entire practice. This includes HR and staffing, administrative tasks, reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work culture.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, both clinical and non-clinical.
  • Implement strategies to enhance practice culture and foster a positive work environment.
  • Take proactive steps to improve patient experiences and satisfaction.
  • Oversee administrative tasks including payroll, rostering, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new staff members.
  • Handle patient complaints and feedback.
  • Analyse practice data and identify areas for improvement to optimise efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Directors and department heads to implement changes and drive practice growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a Practice Manager role within the dental or healthcare industry, or high-level business management experience in another industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to handle occasional after-hours responsibilities as needed with rostering emergencies.
  • IT skills
  • Experience with Microsoft suite, or equivalent - Teams and Excel
  • Dental 4 Windows experience.
  • Knowledge in Invedent, Wageloch and Xero an advantage.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the dental field an advantage.
